Come as you are and join us for worship every Sunday at 10:00 AM. The service is “traditional” but the vibe is casual and we often borrow music and media from contemporary sources.

At LFFUMC we want everyone to experience faith in ways that builds us up and builds the kindom of God here on Earth. We offer and array of opportunities for Bible study and fellowship for the whole family.

Matt Ratliff
Pastor
Pastor Matt Ratliff is in his third year under appointment at La Feria First. Each week he strives to bring a message of inclusion and Christ’s love for all. His laughter and kindness show in everything he does, from leading worship to sharing a hot dog with the neighbors. “I believes in a church thatʼs alive with energy and love, where everyone is welcome, accepted, and united in the love of Jesus,” he says. Pastor Matt loves to travel (especially to the mountains of western North Carolina, where his family lives) and to spoil his two fur-babies–Drake and Stella.
Mackenzie Lopez
Ministry Assistant
Mackenzie in her second year on staff as Admin and Ministry Assistant at La Feria First. She works to keep our day to day operations running smoothly and helps us prepare for Sunday morning worship. When she’s not working at the church Mackenzie spends most of her time taking care of her family. Keep an eye out for her in the Starbucks line!

Executive Team Chair
Alan and his wife Cindy joined LFUMC shortly after moving to La Feria in 1984. Alan says, “We knew it was going to be a good fit when we stopped by and heard Charlie Graham playing the Aggie War Hymn on the piano.” Both of their sons were baptized, confirmed and married in LFUMC. “The congregation is family and has always supported any ministry or outreach a member wanted to pursue.”
Janie Campos
Custodian
Janie is a devoted Christ follower and kind soul. She has been working behind the scenes helping to keep La Feria First in ship shape for over 30 years. THANK YOU, JANIE! She loves to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
